Aging and Innocence

Oh dear sweet kids of mine. How I love you!

 

 

So the girls were just sitting around watching TV and all of a sudden....

KT: Is that what it was like when you were a kid?

Me: (looks at TV to see a  little boy playing with a box) Oh playing with boxes? Yeah I did that!

KT: No I mean the TV.

Me: puzzled...

KT: You know where everything is in black and white!

Me: Um no.... They came out with colored TVs in the 50's

It is so funny how I know I ask my mom the same thing at some point. She on the other hand was growing with the colored TVs I am NOT that freaking old!!

Why do these silly kids want to believe their parents are so old? I can't wait until she is my age and her kids ask her the same thing!
